Yes, all apartments at Palisade have a furniture package including a full-size bed, desk and chair in each bedroom, a sofa, coffee table and entertainment stand in each living room. Plus, all residences also include a dining table and counter stools. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model residences.

The standard term is August 19, 2024 to July 31, 2025, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Other alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff. 

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent), or pre-pay the final installment.

Your living costs at Palisade can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Palisade. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Nearly all the residents at Palisade are students at University of Wisconsin and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Residents/families with children are welcome. There is no extra cost for minor children in the care of adult residents, other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. A minor occupying a bedroom space rented by a parent, guardian or person with legal custody is not considered a breach of the Housing Agreement or a violation of the rules. Lark is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. In order to match student roommates in shared apartments, we will request roommate consent for any non-student occupants.

Palisade has fire sprinklers and electronic community access, individually locking bedroom doors, video surveillance, front desk check-in. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

Palisade is a no-pets community. The community is smoke-free in all indoor areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Palisade offers secure parking in an attached underground garage. Spaces are available at an additional charge.

Palisade is steps from campus and public transportation, and is within walking distance to downtown Madison.
